Pastor Dave and Jenn Sterling
Dave was born in Philadelphia, Pa. has been married to Jenn for 16 years. Their family consists of daughter Madison (23), son in law Andre (29), granddaughter Arabella (5), a son Vj (19). Dave spent most of his life not having a relationship with Jesus. It wasn’t until Jenn (a friend at the time now wife) said something was missing and they needed to go to church. At that service Dave gave his life to Jesus Christ. From that day forward God put on his heart the call to ministry with a huge passion for marriages, men and discipleship. He started to attend a Wesleyan church in Willow Grove, Pa in 2015 where Mike Saunders helped him get on the track to become a minister. While working full time to support his family he pursued classes working his way towards ordination and earning his bible and doctrine diploma. He finished all the education needed in December of 2020. He also got his service time needed for ordination serving as discipleship pastor at Crossway Community Church and Thornridge Community Church. Dave became an ordained minister September of 2021.

We are part of the Wesleyan denomination. Below you will find more about what that means and what we believe.
We are a church that is Christ centered, community-oriented and family-focused. The Wesleyan’s Church’s vision is transforming lives, churches and communities through the hope and holiness of Jesus Christ.
We Believe in one God, who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Savior of all who put their faith in Him alone eternal life.
We Believe that those who are made new in Christ are called to be holy in character and conduct and can only live this way by being filled with the Lord’s spirit.
We Believe in the Bible and its sufficiency to establish our faith and conduct.
We Believe Gods will for people everywhere to know Him and be made new in Christ.
We Believe that the purpose of the church is to worship God in spirit and in truth, and to reach a lost and fallen world with the gospel of Jesus Christ through its worship, witness and loving deeds.

SPIRIT-LED FOCUS REQUIRES PRAYERFUL OBEDIENCE
We choose obedience over personal preference, with prayer as offense, not just defense. The Holy Spirit, not us, starts and leads the movement. Discerning and faithfully following the Spirit’s leading produces the transforming fruit God plans for us.
Zechariah 4:6, Matthew 7:7-8, John 15:5, Galatians 5:25, Ephesians 6:18-20, Colossians 4:2-4
GOD’S VISION REQUIRES BIG RELATIONSHIPS
Big relationships are built on love, collaboration and forgiveness. We choose trust over tension and mutual voluntary submission in our relationships to unite in pursuing God’s vision.
Mark 12:30-31, John 13:35, John 17:21, Galatians 5:22-23, Ephesians 3:20-21, Ephesians 4:2,15, 32, Ephesians 5:21, Philippians 2:1-5
THE GOSPEL GAP REQUIRES A KINGDOM FORCE
There is a growing gap between the gospel and our cultures. We must mobilize a multiethnic, multigenerational and multieconomic Kingdom Force of disciples making disciples to close the gap. Our Kingdom Force includes laity and clergy, women and men, from everywhere to everywhere.
